Building robust statistical plans for production line validation, or constructing suitable experimental designs (for example “Design of Experiment”) are routine tasks at Cambridge Polymer Group. We have worked with clients from medical to consumer products, and the diverse needs of validating experiments and providing confidence in data are often required. By understanding the limits of the experimental or process requirements, and planning accordingly, a robust measure of the measurement uncertainty can be determined and by designing an experiment from the ground up, specimen wasteage is reduced and costs controlled while still ensuring the validity of the final results. However, detailed statistical analysis of experimental or production outcomes is often highly involved and specialized and for these more complex problems we leverage the academic environment within Boston to provide seamless statistical consultation and advice.
